The purpose of the annual inspection is to verify the structural and functional integrity of the various components that make up the cable transport system, in order to determine whether it is fit to continue operating.<\/p>

These inspections are carried out annually for passenger cable cars in accordance with European regulations.<\/p>

During this inspection, the following checks are carried out:<\/p>

\u2981 General visual inspection of the condition of civil constructions.
\u2981 Visual inspection and operational testing of the various mechanical devices, including acceleration, deceleration, and braking tests, among others.
\u2981 Inspection of the operation of the various electrical and safety installations on the cable car.
\u2981 Checking the operation of safety and signaling devices.
\u2981 Visual and functional inspection of mobile rescue devices.<\/p>

Magneto-inductive rope testing (MRT), also known as magnetography, is a service that allows for the accurate assessment of the condition of cables in a cable transport system, using specialized equipment that relies on magnetic flux to identify structural discontinuities (broken wires), deformations, or wear.<\/p>


The magneto-inductive testing considers:<\/p>


\u2981 Visual inspection of the rope.
\u2981 Detection of possible internal and external damage to the ropes.
\u2981 Dimensional control of ends and\/or splices.
