{"id":723,"date":"2025-08-02T03:50:27","date_gmt":"2025-08-02T03:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/?post_type=proyecto&#038;p=723"},"modified":"2026-02-07T19:21:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-07T19:21:04","slug":"teleferico-de-puerto-plata","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/proyecto\/teleferico-de-puerto-plata\/","title":{"rendered":"Puerto Plata Cable Car"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">2.\tThe Puerto Plata Cable Car is a bi-cable type cable transport system that allows tourists to reach quickly and safely to the top of Isabel de Torres Park, where you can have a panoramic view of the city of Puerto Plata and appreciate the biodiversity of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In 2021, INTECKNO carried out a complete diagnostic to determine the current state of the Puerto Plata cable car, <strong>in which the different components that make up the system were evaluated, such as structural components of stations and lines, drive chain, components and structures that make up the vehicle, carrier cables, tractors and rescue cables, and the structure of the intermediate tower.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Based on this assessment, necessary improvements were identified for the reopening of the cable car to ensure the safety of the cable car and the tourists who use it daily. These improvements were carried out by INTECKNO with the aim of upgrading and improving the cable car's conditions. Among the upgrades performed by INTECKNO were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dise\u00f1o y <strong>fabricaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de las estructuras de suspensi\u00f3n de cabinas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design, manufacture and assembly of wheelbarrow axles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design, manufacture and assembly of dummy axles for the cabins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and installation of a system for identifying the maximum capacity of the cabins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the upgrade activities carried out on the system, INTECKNO confirmed that the Puerto Plata Cable Car met the standards of the UNE-EN 1709:2020 standard to begin its reopening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From this moment on, Technical Assistance was provided to the operation and maintenance of the cable car, in which our staff carried out training activities aimed at operators and maintainers of the cable car, structuring of operation and maintenance activities, preparation of routine and major maintenance plans, in addition to continuous support to all the operation and maintenance activities of the cable car.<\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":1378,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-723","proyecto","type-proyecto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyecto\/723","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/proyecto"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/proyecto"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1378"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/inteckno.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=723"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
