INSPECTIONS AND PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE IN CABLE TRANSPORT SYSTEMS.
Keep your system always in optimal conditions with our predictive maintenance specialized technics.
We have in our company a team of professionals highly trained, who applies the best practices in the industry and complies with the current international standards.
Our goal is to guarantee maximum reliability, security and efficiency in the operation of cable transport systems, providing high quality services that allows to identify failures, take preventive or corrective actions that have direct impact in the life cycle of the assets.
The services offered by our company are:
Annual inspection of Cable Transport Systems
The purpose of the annual inspection is to verify the structural and functional integrity of the various components that make up the cable transport system, in order to determine whether it is fit to continue operating.
These inspections are carried out annually for passenger cable cars in accordance with European regulations.
During this inspection, the following checks are carried out:
⦁ General visual inspection of the condition of civil constructions.
⦁ Visual inspection and operational testing of the various mechanical devices, including acceleration, deceleration, and braking tests, among others.
⦁ Inspection of the operation of the various electrical and safety installations on the cable car.
⦁ Checking the operation of safety and signaling devices.
⦁ Visual and functional inspection of mobile rescue devices.
This inspection gives our customers the assurance of having a fully functional installation for the safe and efficient transport of people or cargo.
General Diagnostics
INTECKNO performs general diagnostics on cable car facilities throughout their life cycle, including before public operation, after commissioning, after repair or replacement of components, or at intervals based on European regulatory guidelines. This service also applies to cable cars used for transporting materials.
Our tests and inspections include:
⦁ Inspection of drive stations, return stations, and intermediate stations, including the tensioning system and safety devices, and the safety functions performed by the electrical control system
⦁ Inspection of the line and safety devices
⦁ Inspection of vehicle condition, including the condition of their components.
⦁ Magneto-inductive (MRT) tests delivered on carrying ropes, hauling ropes, and carrying-hauling steel ropes.
⦁ Vibration analysis of drive train components.
⦁ Thermographic analysis of rotating mechanical components (mainly bearings) and electrical control and power cabinets.
⦁ Preparation of safety reports
⦁ Non-destructive testing delivered clamps, suspension, vehicles, stations, and towers
Reception of the Electromechanical Component in new or recovered systems
Our Electromechanical Component Reception service is carried out in accordance with the latest version of European standard UNE EN 1709, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in cable transport systems.
The reception service consists of:
⦁ Verification of the conformity of the installation with the technical documents submitted.
⦁ Control of the different systems and subsystems that make up the cable car, their interaction with each other and with their environment.
⦁ Operational testing of the installation.
⦁ Final delivery of the cable car to the operator, together with the required documentation.
With this service, we ensure that the operator receives a cable car in perfect condition, ready to operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Thermography
Using infrared technology, we perform thermographic studies on electrical cabinets, control systems, and rotating components such as engines, gearboxes, and bullwheels, detecting hot spots and overloads that allow us to identify potential failures.
These inspections are performed in accordance with the recommended practice ASNT TC-1A, ensuring reliability in the early detection of anomalies and complementing vibrational analysis.
Magneto-inductive testing (MRT)
Magneto-inductive rope testing (MRT), also known as magnetography, is a service that allows for the accurate assessment of the condition of cables in a cable transport system, using specialized equipment that relies on magnetic flux to identify structural discontinuities (broken wires), deformations, or wear.
The magneto-inductive testing considers:
⦁ Visual inspection of the rope.
⦁ Detection of possible internal and external damage to the ropes.
⦁ Dimensional control of ends and/or splices.
⦁ Professional evaluation to determine corrective actions such as renovation, shortening, or cable replacement.
We have a Level II certified inspector for magneto-inductive testing, who will carry out the service in accordance with the UNE EN 12927 standard, which establishes the technical guidelines and acceptance/rejection criteria for steel ropes.
With our magneto-inductive testing service, your system will operate more safely, reliably, and efficiently, allowing for early identification of faults and the possibility of scheduling rope replacement or intervention in advance, ensuring continuity of operation and peace of mind for users.
Non-destructive testing on the components of the system
We perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical components such as vehicles, axles, bullwheels, grips, suspensions, brake systems, and structural joints, applying techniques such as visual inspection (VT), ultrasonic (UT), penetrant liquids (PT), and magnetic particles (MT).
We have Level I or II certified inspectors in non-destructive testing, with inspection techniques such as visual (VT), magnetic particles (MT), penetrating liquids (PT), and ultrasonic testing (UT).
The tests performed are based on American or European international standards, which establish the technical guidelines for acceptance/rejection of each component evaluated.
Vibration measurement and analysis
We implement vibration analysis on rotating elements of the cable transport system, allowing our customers to know the functional status of components such as engines, gearboxes, and bullwheels. The main objective is to provide information on the operating conditions of each of the elements mentioned, allowing for the timely detection or identification of failures such as misalignment, imbalance, or various failures present in bearings.
These tests are performed by qualified and certified personnel in accordance with current regulations, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective decision-making in predictive maintenance.
Oil analysis
Oil analysis allows our customers to identify the level of degradation of their lubricant, determine the level of contamination present, and assess the wear of structural components involved in the operation of the machine.
This technique enables decision-making and preventive actions that will ensure the availability and reliability of the component in the daily operation of the system.
