A través del estudio de pre-factibilidad, evaluamos la viabilidad inicial para la implementación de un sistema de transporte por cable aéreo mediante estudios técnicos y económicos. En esta etapa identificamos las alternativas preliminares, evaluamos las diferentes tecnologías existentes para seleccionar la más apropiada según el contexto del proyecto, realizamos una estimación preliminar de las distancias, cantidad de estaciones y torres, determinamos las diferentes interferencias y aspectos constructivos del proyecto. Estos estudios nos permiten estimar un costo preliminar de la inversión necesaria para la implementación del componente electromecánico y de la etapa de operación y mantenimiento, siendo segmentos claves para determinar la viabilidad inicial del proyecto. Durante la etapa de pre – factibilidad, se pueden llevar a cabo los siguientes estudios:

We develop technical, economic, and financial feasibility studies for the electromechanical components of cable transport system projects. This detailed analysis allows us to precisely define the project's scope, costs, impacts, and benefits, serving as a basis for strategic decision-making. It also identifies potential implementation challenges, ensuring the project's success before any investment is made. 

During this stage, the following studies are carried out:

  • Basic System Engineering:
    • Final route definition.
    • Technology section.
    • Stations, towers, equipment of the electromechanical component and the cabins.
    • Principal components technical specifications (Rope, engine, gearbox, brakes)
  • Soil and geotechnical engineering:
    • Surveys and analysis of the terrain in critical areas (stations and towers).
    • Geotechnical risks evaluation.
    • Recommendations for foundations and structures.
  • Economic and financial studies for the electromechanical component:
    • Estimation of the investment costs (CAPEX) and operation and maintenance costs (OPEX).

  • Preparation of technical specifications for pre-feasibility, feasibility, design, construction, construction supervision, and maintenance studies:Based on international standards for cable transport systems and the experience of our collaborators, we develop technical specifications adapted to the context of each project, always taking into account the opportunities for improvement identified in the historical context of existing cable transport systems.
